6:30 pm 10-minute INTERIOR average of SECOND SANTA MONICA RAIN: 140.0 CPM^ or 221% HIGHER THAN PREVIOUS BACKGROUND!

Radioactive Los Angeles Rain 11-6-11 eveningThis stunning detection suggests radon progeny generated by continuing fissile re-criticality at the three melted down and out Fukushima nuclear reactors and perhaps additional radiation caused by the Japanese government’s decision to burn over 550,000 tons of radioactive waste in October, much of which will end up as fallout.

  1. Thank you for this website. The EPA has closed their radiation level site. So thank you for the information you are providing for us.

Can’t believe our govt isn’t doing anything to inform the public.

  2. We’ve been measuring the inside of our home with an Inspector+ radiation detector. We have the software (by Mineralab) that shows the data realtime on a spreadsheet and as a graph. Our typical reading ranges from 20-43 cpm. The threshold is set at 50 cpm to alert us when it reaches there or beyond. Today, from 12 pm – 1:45 pm eastern time, we had FIVE alerts at 50-52 cpm! It is raining outside. We live in Hagerstown, MD. We are monitoring this closely.

  3. Thank you Michael for bringing this to light. Japan’s fallout can no longer be denied or conjectured as something that it is not. We must face the facts, and not be like some of those in Northern Japan who continue to eat the food grown there and pretend that it is all going to go away. This is why the types of posts that you are putting up are so very important.

  4. This is very concerning…I live in Seattle. I can only imagine what our rain looks like. Do you know anyone with a geiger counter there who can fill us in on the counts per minute there? 🙁
